We will arrange for a van to pick up participants in front of the Sheraton:
1. Mark Conti is a great guy and he owns a Transportation company. He will pick you up at the airport, take you there or drive you around with his large smile, huge blue eyes and funny accent. Call him at (504) 913-6279. He charges pretty much the same as a taxi.
2. Cabs are pretty inexpensive in New Orleans. Here are a few phone numbers if you need to schedule a ride. They usually show up within 10 minutes.
United (504) 522-9771
Yellow checker (504) 525-3311
3. Public Transportation: Check New Orleans Transit Regional Authority
go along St Charles. The streetcar used to run along st Charles. The bus has replaced it since Katrina. Starting November 11, 2007 the streetcar will run up to Napoleon Avenue only.
Take the St Charles bus. (12) Catch it by St Charles and Canal. Get off in front of Tulane University (pass Nashville and before Broadway). Then walk towards the Lake (away from the Park) to go to Riley Center.
